A problem has been reported on the Fritz mirrors that have a D-Ring as the hanging mechanism. The D-ring can become detached from the back of the mirror, due to the weight of the mirror, allowing the mirror to fall off the wall. The new Fritz mirrors use a French cleat that is engineered to hold the weight of the mirror and allows for a more secure connection to both the mirror and the wall.
