Our Gabby showroom is a meticulously organized space designed to show how our chosen materials, textures, and forms work together and accompany each other. Its design is all about making sure that the space and products are optimally displayed to highlight both to the best of our abilities. There are two very important jobs when it comes to setting up our showroom space — merchandising and product design. In order to make sure we properly present our products to our guests, both aspects must be completely aligned.
For the showroom’s design, Gabby’s merchandising director works to create tangible focal points in the space or room much like you would in your own home. It can be quite a daunting feat to organize a space such as this one in a manner that feels homey and welcoming, but that’s just what our showroom designers manage to do! They start by displaying different styles alongside one another to showcase an eclectic look with multiple options.
Our many fabulous wallpaper selections lend texture, color, and “curb appeal” to the walls. To create a look that resonates with showroom visitors, our merchandising director makes sure to choose colors that are classic but still excite the senses. Our showroom accessories tend to have more of a natural theme — we absolutely adore anything “of the Earth,” like plants, trees, flowers, and other natural materials with real textures For an unexpected addition to the showroom, we incorporate antique finds mixed in with our custom pieces. They complement one another and break up any existing monotony.
Of course, there would be no showroom at all without our talented product designers. Our designers are constantly evolving and transforming our products to create lasting, timeless themes. Our current, universal theme is chic-contrast, juxtaposing the use of both natural and unique materials. For example, we pair matte-finished vellum with shiny metallics and smooth, soft natural oak with rustic, textured black metal. Our go-to faux materials include shagreen, horn, and bone, while our often-used natural materials include seagrass and stone.
Our designers aren’t afraid to play with the intensity of exotic, high gloss-finished hardwood veneers and other unique textural finishes like shiny metallics, industrial finishes, eglomise, and painted fabrics. The result of their hard work, we believe, is truly compelling pieces that ignite and inspire.
Together, our wonderful merchandising and high-quality products unite in a visually pleasing collection of ideas and pieces. Ultimately, we believe we’ve created a showroom people will look forward to visiting time and time again.
