Here at Gabby, we’re constantly keeping a pulse on the latest design trends, as well as the needs and tastes of today’s homeowners and designers, to reinforce our brand as a leader in the transitional market. Hence, it was no surprise to us when nailhead trim revealed itself to be a top trend at the 2014 High Point Market event.
Gabby’s designers have not only been incorporating this stylish detailing into furniture pieces and decor; we’ve also been creating new and different ways to make this design element an even stronger statement and expression of chic transitional style. Our goal is always to go beyond just appealing to our new and existing customers to excite and inspire them with pieces that speak to their distinct enthusiasm for clean lines and modern touches that define transitional home design.
The Sandy Footstool gracefully combines linen, antique brass nailhead trim and geometry to create a transitional look that’s fresh and fashionable while still sophisticated and elegantly understated.
In another interpretation of this concept, the linen Zara Footstool features an even more elaborate nailhead pattern that turns the whole piece into a decorative and dynamic piece for adding visual interest to interiors. Our bold use of brass studs empowers this footstool as a subtle focal point in furniture arrangements.
We combined brass studs and strong geometric patterns with the unique mixing of linen, oak and brass to achieve the Ludlow Vintage Style Media Cabinet. The nailhead trim and linen add an unexpected contrast of colors and textures that allow this sturdy and functional oak cabinet to contribute much more than just gorgeous wood grains. At the same time, the brass base gently echoes the studded pattern shapes.
The Luther Media Cabinet offers the same striking transitional look as the Ludlow cabinet with even more storage and functionality. Instead of just two fold-down drawer fronts, the Luther cabinet offers three easy-to-access storage compartments, as well as adjustable shelves for added versatility.
The Baldwin Settee is another testament of the Gabby designers’ commitment to creativity when it comes to combining and integrating different materials and design elements. We took a timeless settee silhouette and made it even more stunning by incorporating nailhead trim on the base to create a look that’s beautiful in its simplicity.
